Can I note a Service or Product for the Gift instead of an amount?

Is there a way where the gift can be specified for a specific Service, Package or Product?

Great question! Think of some of your favorite businesses and how they issue gifts.  Traditionally, the gift is in one of the following formats:
  1. A gift card with the businesses logo inside an envelope or package that details what the gift is intended for.
  2. A gift certificate with the businesses logo on a nice piece of paper that has write-in fields for what the gift is intended for.
When it comes to a point of sale, the amount is what matters for Checkout purposes.  When issuing the gift, you'll assign a value and can select a value that coincides with the intended gift.  The service or product it is intended for can be established on the gift packaging or envelope details. 
Gift Cards a pre-numbered and can be barcode scanned or Magtek swiped.  Gift Certificates can have the numbers pre-written in them for easier distribution.
