Classes Guide



In January 2023, the Main Setup page will be getting a new look.  The updated location will be Setup > Classes


Inspire Classes is a great solution for scheduling sessions for clients to register in store or online for. 

IMPORTANT: Permissions must be enabled before utilizing setup or booking of classes.

Set Up Classes

To create Classes go to:
  1. Setup > Setup Services > Setup Classes
  2. Click Create New
  3. Enter a Name, Duration, Max # of Attendees, Price per Attendee, Online Name and Description. 
  4. Click Save

Select a Class Group Color

To assign a color to Classes on your schedule go to:
  1. Setup > Setup Services > Setup Service Groups
  2. Click Classes (99)
  3. Select a color to represent Classes on your calendar
  4. Click Save

Enable Workers for Classes

To note which workers host classes, go to:
  1. Setup > Setup Workers > Worker Detail > Services
  2. Click the triangle next to Classes
  3. Check boxes for the Classes to be booked on the calendar or registered for online
  4. Click Save

Schedule a Class

To note which workers host classes, go to:
  1. Appointment Book > Classes button
  2. Select Class Start Date, Time, Class, Instructor, # of Classes, Number of Attendees and how often to book.
  3. Click Search 
  4. Choose option to Save or Save Available Only


Add Attendee to a Class from Appointment Book

  1. Appointment Book > Classes
  2. Click on the Class 
  3. Enter the client name, phone or email in the teach or add new
  4. Click on the client to add

Add Attendee to Class from Online Booking

  1. Client goes to your Online Booking website (link located in Setup Appointments & Emails> Online Booking)
  2. Selects Book Class
  3. Client searches by date, worker or class name
  4. Client pays for class in full online
    1. If the price of the class is $0, a payment is not required
Note: When a client is in the process of registering online, they will appear on the Class Attendee List with a Payment Status of "Pending Deposit". If the deposit is not made within 30 minutes, they will automatically be removed from the list. 
STX Payments integrated card processing is required to allow clients to register for classes online.

Class Check In

To check in a client, go to:
  1. Appointment Book > Classes
  2. Click on the Class
  3. Click the CHECK IN button next to the client name
  4. Click the Check In All to check in all clients


Class Check Out

To check out a client, go to: 
  1. Appointment Book > Classes
  2. Click on the Class
  3. Click the CHECK OUT button next to the client name and the Checkout will open a new tab
    1. Clients who registered online paid in full online and do not need to be checked out.


Cancel Class

To cancel a class, go to: 
  1. Appointment Book > Classes
  2. Click on the Class
  3. Click Cancel Class
Only classes where no clients have checked in or registered and paid online can be cancelled. Classes cannot currently be refunded.
