Creating Hyperlinks in Email Marketing Campaigns

Overview

Hyperlinks allow recipients to click on images, text, or buttons within your email campaign and be redirected to a website, online booking page, social media page, or any other URL of your choice.

  1. Navigate to Marketing.
  2. Open the Campaign or Template you would like to edit.
  3. Drag and drop an Image element into your email.
  4. Upload your image or select an existing image.
  5. Hover your mouse over the image.
  6. Two icons will appear above the image.
  7. Select the orange Hyperlink icon.
  8. A Hyperlink Settings window will appear.
  9. Complete any applicable fields:
    • Source (optional)
    • Title (optional)
    • Link (required)
  10. Enter the URL you would like recipients to be redirected to.
  11. Select OK.

Once saved, recipients can click the image and will be redirected to the URL you entered.

          
  1. Highlight the text you would like to turn into a hyperlink.
  2. Select the Hyperlink icon from the left-hand toolbar.
  3. The Hyperlink Settings window will appear.
  4. Enter the URL you would like the text to redirect to.
  5. Review or edit the display text if needed.
  6. Enter a Title (optional).
  7. Select Save.

Your selected text will now function as a clickable hyperlink within the email.

    

AlertImportant Note: When editing a button, the Link field may automatically contain a # symbol. Before entering your URL, remove the # to ensure the button redirects correctly.

  1. Navigate to Marketing.
  2. Open the Campaign or Template you would like to edit.
  3. Drag and drop your desired Button element into the email.
  4. Hover your mouse over the button.
  5. Select the blue Edit Link button that appears.
  6. The Button Settings window will open.

Configure the Button

  • Locate the Link field.
  • Remove the # symbol if present.
  • Enter the URL you would like recipients to be redirected to when they click the button.

Step 2: Review the Button Text

  • Review the Text field.
  • Update the text if necessary to reflect what you would like displayed on the button.

Step 3: Add a Title (Optional)

  • Enter a title if desired.

Step 4: Select a Border Style

Choose the appearance of your button:

  • Normal – Displays the button as a standard rectangle.
  • Rounded – Creates a more oval-shaped button with fully rounded edges.
  • Radius – Keeps the rectangular shape while slightly rounding the corners.

Step 5: Choose Button Alignment

Select how the button should appear within the email:

  • Full Width – Stretches the button across the width of the template.
  • Center – Centers the button within the email.
  • Left – Aligns the button to the left side of the template.
  • Right – Aligns the button to the right side of the template.
  1. After making your selections, select OK to save your changes.
  2. Save your campaign or template.

Your button will now function as a clickable hyperlink and redirect recipients to the specified URL.

Important Tips:

When opening the Hyperlink Settings window for images or text, http:// may automatically populate in the Link field.

  • If your URL does not already contain http:// or https://, leave the pre-populated text and add the remainder of your URL after it.
  • If you are pasting a complete URL that already includes http:// or https://, remove the pre-populated http:// first to avoid duplicating it.
Warning
An incorrectly formatted URL may prevent the hyperlink from functioning correctly.
