Credit Card Token on File Marketing Announcement

Our team here at Inspire by STX has created a basic template for businesses to repurpose to share the credit card token on file update with their clients.  Follow these steps below:

  1. First, open the attached text file (at the bottom of the article) or scroll down to the HTML text and highlight all the text, then copy
    1. Keyboard Shortcuts: Ctrl + A will highlight all the text and Ctrl + C will copy the highlighted text on a Mac or PC computer.  For additional assistance, google "How to Copy / Paste from <device name>.
  2. Then, from Inspire by STX go to Marketing > Marketing Email
  3. Click the T on the left for Templates, then click Templates
  4. Click the red + Create New (Drag and Drop Editor) button
  5. Scroll down, click the HTML button
  6. Click on the text, and click Ctrl + A (or select all text)
  7. Remove the text by clicking your backspace button on your keyboard
  8. Paste the HTML text provided in the attachment
    1. Keyboard Shortcut: Ctrl + V will paste the text you previously copied in step 1. 
  9. Click OK
The email marketing template will appear and is ready to customize.  The following will need to be updated:
  1. Greetings from [Company Name],
  2. Visit our client page <Online Booking Link>
    1. Where can I find my Online Booking link?
  3. If you have concerns about security or would like to validate this request, please contact us: <Your Business Name>, <website>
  4. If you have any questions, please write to us at <email address>

Additional considerations:
  1. Add a logo
  2. Add social media icons & links
  3. Mention if they should call the business to update their card on file or any updates to Online Booking 
  4. Provide additional information
