Inspire Pay Dejavoo Mobile - Tap to Pay (Pending Release)

Warning
Important: This feature is pending release and not available yet. We published it because documentation is required to get approval from Apple to be released. 

GETTING STARTED

Inspire by STX has added a new feature for Tap to Pay which allows our Inspire Pay Dejavoo connected customers to accept payments from their phones on our Inspire Worker App. 

To enable Tap to Pay, contact our STX Payments Team at 1-800-766-4778 to get started with Inspire Pay Dejavoo for payments or to add a new TPN to your account. 

SETUP A NEW TAP TO PAY FOR INSPIRE PAY DEJAVOO MOBILE

Once you have a TPN created for your Inspire Pay Dejavoo Tap To Pay, an email will be sent to your account and you're ready to get started with Tap to Pay. Please contact an STX Support tech for assistance at 1-800-766-4778 option 2 or follow these steps:
  1. Login via Computer or Tablet to https://portal.ipospays.com
  2. Select Settings > Generate EComm/TOP Merchant Keys
  3. Select the associated TPN for this iPhone or Android
  4. Click Generate Token
  5. From the iOS or Android Device, login to the Inspire Worker App
  6. Create a ticket and select Add Payment
  7. Tap Dejavoo Mobile
  8. Enter the TPN and Merchant ID from Step #3 and submit
  9. Complete the Terms and Conditions and then add a payment by pressing the chip on the card up to the phone as directed.

Note: An existing Inspire Pay Dejavoo Merchant Account is required to add the Tap to Pay payment feature. 


    HOW TO TAKE TAP TO PAY PAYMENTS

    Follow these steps to use the Tap to Pay feature:

    1. From the Inspire Worker App, go to Tickets
    2. First, go to the Add Tips section to have the client fill out any tip options first
    3. Then, click Add Payment
    4. Choose Dejavoo Mobile
    5. Select Add to Ticket
    6. The Tap to Pay pop up will appear
    7. Press the Credit Card Chip to the top of your phone, near the camera untl you hear a ding or a message about payment approval or decline.
    Once the ticket is completed, you will see the details with options to send a receipt or create a new ticket. Here is a video example:
