Deactivate Existing Products Associated with SalonInteractive Product Catalog

If products were previously setup in the software, consider generating the Product List report to note current price, on hand and minimum quantities, then deactivate the existing products to avoid duplicates after the SalonInteractive Sync.
  1. First, go to Reports > Setup Reports > Product List Report
  2. Select the Product Line associated with the soon-to-be imported products and click Generate
  3. Click Print and then Save as PDF -or- Print
  4. Repeat for all the soon-to-be imported Product Lines
    1. These first 4 steps are to have a record of the current on hand quantities, minimum quantities, etc. that will need to be updated after the SalonInteractive sync.
  5. Go to Inventory > Manage Inventory
  6. Click on a Product Line selected in the SalonInteractive Product Catalog
    1. For larger product lines, wait to have the full list of products load by scrolling down until the Save and Cancel buttons appear.
  7. Click Select All to disable the Active checkbox on each product
  8. Click Save
  9. Repeat for all Product Lines selected in SalonInteractive
Why is this step important? In order to benefit from the synced purchase order feature, the products need to be an exact Product Name and Product SKU in SalonInteractive.
