How can a client update their credit card for Token on File and/or Memberships?

Clients can update their own token on file by following these simple steps:
  1. Login to Online Booking
    1. Businesses can locate their Online Booking link in Setup > Setup Appointments & Emails > Online Booking Link
  2. Click MY ACCOUNT
  3. Click on PAYMENTS
  4. Enter the required credit card processing information
  5. Select the checkboxes for the associated needs:
    1. For Tokens on File, click the checkbox for "I authorize <business name> to store my credit card token on file".
    2. For Memberships, click the checkbox for "Please update my auto-billed membership to use the credit card information above."
  6. Click SAVE
Memberships that are inactive, expired or recently declined will need to be re-sold from the Memberships area of the software.

When a Token on File is updated, and email is sent from Clover (the gateway processor) with a button to manage the card on file with the following rules:
  1. If a client has no primary email and a business adds the token on file - the confirmation email is sent to the company email.
  2. If a client has a primary email, and the business add the token on file - the confirmation email is sent only to the client's primary email.
  3. If a client updates their payment information for the Token on File via the Online Booking Link - the confirmation email is sent only to the client's primary email.
If a client removes a card on file from the Clover Gateway management page, the business is not alerted and the appointment will remain as booked.
