How can I change the business information?

This article outlines changes to be considered when the business changes their name, location or has new ownership. 

Important Action Items for New Ownership

  1. Relicensing: The current owner would need to request relicensing paperwork from the STX Licensing team by calling 1-800-766-4778, option 4 and finalize the billing and ownership details. 
  2. Credit Card Processing: The current owner and new owner will want to contact STX Payments regarding closing and opening the any of the credit card processing accounts associated with the account at 1-800-766-4778, option 5. 
  3. Education: New ownership training can be completed using our Inspire University, the Inspire Knowledge Base or scheduled through STX Education at 1-800-766-4778, option 3. 

Changing the Business Contact Information

Associated Knowledge Base Article:  Setup Company
  1. Go to Setup > Setup Company > Company Info > Click, Edit & Save:
    1. Company Name
    2. Address
    3. Phone
    4. Email
    5. Logo
  2. Go to Setup > Setup Ticket Preferences > Setup POS & POS Devices
  3. Update the Receipt Memo field

Changing the Custom Communications

  1. Go to Setup > Setup Appointments & Emails 
    1. Notifications tab: All Fields
    2. Reminders tab: All Fields
    3. Confirmation Page tab: All Fields
    4. Online Booking tab: Custom Online Booking Background Select & All Preferences

Update Marketing Templates 

Associated Knowledge Base Article: Enhanced Email Marketing Guide
  1. Go to Marketing > Campaigns > All Campaigns
    1. Check for any Pending-Sending Emails 
      1. If you would like the emails to send, leave as-is.  
      2. If you would like to cancel any emails click the red trash icon to delete them.
  2. Go to Marketing > Campaigns > Automated Campaigns
    1. Review list of Active Automated Campaigns
      1. If you would like to stop any from sending, select the Delete action
      2. If you would like the emails to keep sending, consider updating the associated Template in Templates with the updated information
To update the Marketing Company Name & Email Send details, please contact STX Support at 1-800-766-4778, option 2 or email support@stxsoftware.com with the new Company Name and Company Email.

Update Workers and Worker Permissions

  1. Add New Owner and Employees as Workers using the Add New Worker instructions.
  2. Edit existing Worker Permissions in Setup > Setup Workers > Setup Permissions
    1. Permissions are assigned in Setup > Setup Workers > Worker Details > Other page
  3. Deactivate or Future Terminate Workers as needed
