How do I add a credit, deposit or prepayment for a client?
To add money as a credit, deposit or prepayment for a client, follow these steps:
- Go to Checkout
- Search and select a Client
- Click on the Other Tab
- Enter the Amount as a Deposit, Prepayment or Received on Account
- Deposit is traditionally a partial payment in advanced for a service.
- Prepayment is traditionally a full payment in advance for a sevice
- Received on Account is to pay down a balance or correct an account balance
- Click Add to Ticket
- Go to the Payments Tab
- Select Payment Type and include a Payment Note (optional)
