How do I assign a Preferred Duration for a Client?

Preferred Durations are used to customize the service duration for a client when that service & worker are scheduled.

For example: If a service is 30 minutes but the client requires 45 minutes, if you flag the client's service as "Preferred Duration" the service will always be scheduled for 45 minutes in-store and online. 

To set a Preferred Duration from Client Card:
  1. Adjust the Service Duration
  2. Go to Client Card
  3. Select the Appointments Tab
  4. Click the Preferred Duration checkbox for the Service
  5. Click Save
All future booked appointments will be scheduled for the preferred duration time and the  (Double Daggers) symbol will appear on the appointment. 

To set a Preferred Duration from Appointment Detail:
  1. Click on the Appointment to show Appointment Detail
  2. Click Modify button
  3. Click Show Durations checkbox
  4. Confirm durations are accurate
  5. Check the Preferred Durations checkbox
  6. Click Save
All future booked appointments will be scheduled for the preferred duration time and the  (Double Daggers) symbol will appear on the appointment. 

Note: The preferred duration is specific to the Worker / Service Combo.  The preferred duration will not be implemented for all workers.
