How do I set up automated emails?



Automated Campaigns are exclusive to our Enhanced and Advanced packages. 

They are emails that are automatically generated based on client activity criteria in Inspire. Options include Birthday, Birth Month, First Time Visit, Referrals and We Miss You. They are ‘Set and Forget’ to continue your efforts to generate revenue automatically.


Go to Email Marketing

  1. In Inspire, click Marketing on the home page, navigation bar or right side bar
  2. Click Marketing Email


Setup Company Info

Complete this step only if it is your first time or if you need to update information.
  1. Click on the Company Name in the upper right
  2. Click My Account
  3. Update the Profile Tab and the Company Tab
  4. Click Save


Create a Template

  1. Click Templates
  2. Pre-designed templates are listed below and can be edited. To create a new template, click + Create New (Drag & Drop Editor) to create an email to send automatically for a First Time Visit, We Miss You, Birth Month, Birthday, Referral Thank You emails.
  3. Enter a Template Name
  4. Use the drop down menu in the email right corner to drag a variety of design options into your email i.e. Logo, Images, Footers, Social Media, Titles, etc.
  5. Highlight text and use the menu bar along the side to update the font, colors, alignment, links, etc.
  6. Click Save when completed


Setup Automated Campaigns

  1. Click Campaigns 
  2. Select Set Automated Campaigns to setup emails that will automatically send based on client’s first time visits, birthdays, birth month, new referrals and we miss you emails
  3. Click Add Automated Campaign
  4. Select Automated Email List, Select a Template, enter a Subject for the email
  5. Click Submit
  6. Click Enable
Automated Campaigns are generated overnight, the emails will not start sending immediately. Please allow 24 hours for the first one to send.


Automated Email List options 

We Miss You - Target clients who have not been in for a # of weeks that do not have a future appointment scheduled. 

Birthday - Sent to a client on their birth date.

Birthday Monthly - Sent to a client on the first of the month on their birth month. 

First Time Visit - Client’s who completed their first appointment. 

Referral Thank You - An email sent to a client who was logged as referring another client.  

Post Appointment Email - An email sent the day after any completed appointment. 

Cancellation Follow Up - If an appointment is cancelled and the client does not book a future appointment within 2 days, an email is sent. 

Prep for Service - An email sent 2 days prior to a specific service to prepare. 

Service Details - An automated email to the client the day after a specific service was completed. 

Product Details - An automated email to the client the day after a specific product was purchased.

Reward Point Value -If a client reaches a specific reward point value, an email will be automatically sent.

# of Referred Clients - If a client reached a specific # of referred clients. 

Post Product Purchase - When a specific product is purchased an email is automatically sent a certain number of weeks after the purchase.
