How do Service Resources work?
Service Resources are utilized to assign rooms and/or devices to a service. When Resources are assigned to a service, the software will validate that a resource is available before scheduling the service.
For example, if 12 workers can perform a pedicure but there are only 4 pedicure chairs, it would not allow a 5th pedicure to be scheduled at the same time via the appointment book or online booking.
Express Booking will display a warning message that the resources are all in use, the worker can override and continue booking.
To Setup Resources:
- Go to Setup > Setup Resources
- Click + New
- Enter a Resource Name
- Select the Number Available of the resource
- Click Save
- Go to Setup > Setup Services
- Select Existing Service or + New
- Expand the > View Advanced Options
- Select Resources Used for Any or All
- Any Option will validate that any of the resources are available.
- Example: An eyebrow wax can be performed in either a private room or make up chair.
- All Option will confirm all resources selected are available.
- Example: A laser treatment requires both a private room and the laser machine available.
- Click Save
