Inspire 2.1 Release Notes

STX Cloud v2.1 is packed with awesome new features and enhancements to the existing features. Memberships can now auto credit service packages, tickets can be voided and gifts can be reloaded!

IMPORTANT: Worker Permissions will need to be enabled to allow access to new features & reports.


Void Tickets (NEW FEATURE!) - Tickets that are checked in or completed can now be voided. When a ticket is voided, the appointment will not appear on the client card or appointment book and the transaction will not appear on reports.

Location: Checkout or Completed Ticket


Void Ticket Report (NEW FEATURE!) - Any completed tickets that were voided will be added to this report for reference. These values will not appear on any other reports.

Location: Reports> Transaction Reports


Token Present (NEW FEATURE!) - If a client has a ‘Card on File’ also known as a Token, a token icon and the phrase “Token Present” will appear during the booking screens, appointment detail and at checkout. Integrated credit card processing is required.

Location: Client Card> Accounts> Card on File


Enable Gifts Online (NEW FEATURE!) - A new checkbox to select whether or not you want to offer gifts online. The merchant setup is required for Online Gifts to work, but now you can choose whether or not to display the button online.

Location: Setup> Setup Appointments & Emails > Online Booking


Ticket Change Timeline (Enhancement) - The Worker, Payment Type and Tip can now be adjusted at any time. Previously, there was a limit to making changes until midnight on the day the ticket was completed.


Online Booking Change & Cancel Timeline (NEW FEATURE!) - Enter a number of hours or days that a client can change or cancel an appointment from the Online Booking page.

Memberships with Service Packages (NEW FEATURE!) - Memberships can now auto-credit a service package that can automatically expire at the time of each auto-bill.

Any Worker - Find Appointment (NEW FEATURE!) - In the Find Appointment feature within the Appointment Book, users can now select ANY WORKER to search for any worker that performs that service.

Location: Appointments


Any Worker - Online Booking (NEW FEATURE!) - When Clients are booking online, they will now see an option to select ANY WORKER. The results will display all the available times for workers who perform that service.

Any Worker - Walk In Check In (NEW FEATURE!) - Clients who are using the Check In Kiosk and enter their information as a Walk In client can select ANY WORKER. When the front desk checks in the client, it will default to the first worker in the sort order and can be adjusted.

Add Product - Single User (Enhancement) - For our Indie Packages, when adding a product to a ticket you will no longer be asked to select a worker.

Reload Gifts (NEW FEATURE!) - Gift Numbers can now be reused to add funds to a Gift. Simply enter the same gift number in and a pop up will confirm you would like to reload the gift.

Location: Checkout > Other Tab


Gift Balance Search (NEW FEATURE!) - Additional search and sort options have been added to Gift Balances. Users can now search by Gift Recipient or Purchaser and the results include additional information about the purchase information. To see a full history of the gifts issued, used or reloaded information simply click on the Gift Number.

Product SKU Scan (Enhancement) - The SKU Search field has been added to the Favorites Tab in Checkout. Additionally, if a SKU scanned is exact, the pop up to select a worker will appear.

Employee Analysis Report (NEW FEATURE!) - This report is a great tool for all Summit Consulting Salons to view the important numbers to build your workers.

Location: Reports> Business Analysis Report> Employee Analysis Report


Packages Report (NEW FEATURE!) - This report will detail all the packages sold for a date range and provide additional information on the remaining package balance and total value of unused packages.

Location: Reports> Appointments & Clients Reports


Standing Appointment Report (NEW FEATURE!) - This report will detail the standing appointments will an end date during the date range entered. A great tool to run a search for upcoming standings that will expire and scheduling a new set of Standing Appointments.
