Inspire by STX: Access, Speed, System Requirements & Backups
Inspire by STX is a cloud-based application, so no files are installed on your computer. Instead, you log into from a web page, just as you would on any other website with which you have an account (think Facebook, Gmail, Amazon, etc). Before using Inspire by STX, make sure your computers and devices meet or exceed the following requirements.
Computer or Tablet Access to Inspire by STX
Inspire by STX is accessible by using Google Chrome and navigating to www.stxcloud.com on a Computer, Laptop or Tablet in landscape view with a high speed internet connection. View full details on Internet speed, supported browsers and device compatibility below.
Inspire by STX Supported Browsers
Inspire by STX is only supported using Google Chrome on your Computer, Laptop or Tablet. Click here to verify your computer, laptop or tablet is compatible with the latest version of Google Chrome. If your device is compatible, proceed to Download Google Chrome. What about other browsers (Safari, Firefox, etc)? Inspire by STX can be compatible with other browsers, however our STX Support team will only support challenges reported when using Google Chrome.
Mobile Phone Access to Inspire by STX
Use the Inspire Worker App for your staff's simple operations available from the Inspire by STX Worker App for iOS or Android.

Utilizing the www.stxcloud.com web-browser version of the Inspire by STX software from a mobile phone is not supported. Internet Connection Requirements
- Speed: Inspire by STX requires a reliable high speed internet connection and preferably business-class for any users on the Basic, Enhanced or Advanced packages. For faster-paced businesses, we recommend at least 100 MB download speed. This should be your download speed during peak network traffic times, which can be verified through an internet speed test. - Bandwidth: Your internet bandwidth should be appropriate to the number of devices connecting to your network, and your network must have wireless capability if you are using mobile devices. Traditionally, experts recommend 3-5 Mbps per device (computers, tablets, mobile phones, etc) on your network.
IMPORTANT: Using a single Internet connection for Inspire by STX, Credit Card Processing, Security Cameras, Streaming Music, Guest Internet Access and Team Internet access is not recommended and will result in poor data logging performance. This can lead to incorrect data on your appointment book, credit card transactions and payroll reporting. Please consult with your Internet Service Provider on how to prioritize your business functions over streaming and guests.
Updating Inspire by STX
Inspire by STX updates for the computer, laptop and tablet versions are automatically pushed out to all devices and announced by email to the owner listed on the account. The Worker Appmupdates are dependent on the users settings to automatically update their mobile apps.
Backing Up Your Data
Inspire by STX is a cloud-based software which means your data is stored in the cloud and then backed up multiple times to different servers for your protection. The data is not stored on your computer or tablet, and therefore if one of those devices fails, simply login from another device. The big benefit of a cloud-based solution is not worrying about backing up your data manually.
