How does the Inspire by STX x Tippy Integration Work?
Once the Inspire by STX and Tippy integration is activated, here is how a transaction would go:
- From Inspire by STX Checkout, add Services, Products, Gifts, etc. to a ticket.
- Click the “Send to Tippy” button.
- The Tippy device will activate and display the workers and the suggested tip amounts based off of the service total. The customer will select their tip preferences, then click a button to continue to payment.
- The Inspire by STX ticket amount plus the Tippy Tips & Tippy Convenience Fee amounts combined together are sent to the credit card machine.
- Once payment is completed, the Tippy Tips & Fees are noted on the Inspire by STX Completed Ticket.
Tippy Tips are reported in the Total Sheet, Tip Summary Report, Tip Detail Report, Itemized Sales Report.
The Send to Tippy Button is unavailable from the Inspire Worker App.
What is required to use the Inspire by STX x Tippy Integration?
The integration requires the business to be an active Inspire by STX business with integrated STX Payments credit card processing and a registered Tippy customer with up to date hardware.

Does Send to Tippy work on the Inspire Worker Mobile App?
The Send to Tippy button is not available from the Inspire Worker Mobile App.
