Inspire by STX v4.2 - Online Booking Best Practices Checklist

In the Inspire by STX v4.2 update, the online booking pages got a makeover to be more modern look with paper-white background and black text and new options are now available to learn more about your business & workers. The Appointment Search page will now go to a home screen with options like Meet the Team, Company About Us, Shop Products, Browse Packages & Memberships and view your Service or Class Booking Menus. Another great benefit is your clients could book by selecting the worker first or service first based on how they navigate the page. Only the settings you enable will appear in the online booking experience and the online offerings can be curated to your preferences.

Until the preferences are enabled, the related button will not display on the Online Booking page. For example, if no workers are enabled to 'Display Online Profile' then the Meet the Team button will not appear.

To view your online booking page updates, go to Setup > Setup Online Booking and open the URL in a new tab or new browser application. Some updates (such as the background selection may take up to 1 business day to update but the majority of settings will be instant. 

Online Booking Color Preference & Background

In this update, the online booking background color selection will become your button color and the background will be white. If you had a photo uploaded, your photo will still be there but with a faint white overlay and the default color selection. 

Go to Setup > Setup Online Booking > Online Booking Page tab
□   Confirm Online Booking Color Preference (Setup Online Booking) 
□   Upload or Confirm Photo Background (optional)

About Us Page

The About Us page is a new button on the home screen on the Appointment Search URL site or after logging in. Clients can learn more about your business, social media, hours and reviews.  

Go to Setup > Setup Company > Company Info
□   Confirm Company Info - Company Name, Email, Phone Number, Full Address will display in About Us by default
□   Confirm, Add or Update Company Logo
Go to Setup > Setup Company > About Us
□   Enter details about your business to the About Us field
□   Enter your Company Website URL
□   Enter Facebook and Instagram URLs
□   Enter Hours or Text - for example "Closed" or "By Appt Only" can be entered instead of hours 
Go to Setup > Setup Online Booking 
□   Enable Show Reviews (Only available on the Advanced Package)

Shop Products Button

A new Shop Products button is available on the home screen on the Appointment Search URL site or after logging in. The button can link to any e-commerce site such as SalonInteractive, Shopify or Amazon Storefront.

Go to Setup > Setup Online Booking
□   Enter URL to the Online Store URL field

Meet the Team Page

The Meet the Team Page is a new button available on the home screen on the Appointment Search URL site or after logging in. Clients and Prospective Clients can learn more about your workers, their specialties, checkout their social media pages and view their Booking Menu.

Go to Setup > Setup Worker Details > Profile 
□   Confirm or Update Worker Photo is ready for Online View
Go to Setup > Setup Worker Details > Online Profile tab
□   Enable 'Display Online Booking Profile' checkbox 
□   Confirm Accepting New Clients Online status (this status will now display in Online Booking)
□   Enter details into the About Me field
□   Enter Worker's Facebook & Instagram URLs
□   Enter Favorite Product Name
□   Enter Favorite Product Direct URL (for the client to purchase online)
□   Share the Worker URL with the Worker, its a direct link to book with them

Privacy Policy

The Online Booking Privacy Policy has a standard privacy policy that will appear by default on the login page and now your business can add their own details to appear after the standard policy. 

Go to Setup > Setup Online Booking > Privacy Policy
□   Enter any additional Privacy Policy text

Previous Online Booking Settings

In addition to enabling your new online booking features, you may also want to review your previous online booking settings:
□   Setup > Setup Online Booking > Online Booking Preferences
□   Setup > Setup Online Booking > Online Booking Messages
□   Setup > Setup Online Booking > Pending Deposits

□   
Setup > Setup Worker Details > Online Hours
□   Setup > Setup Worker Details > Services Offered Online

□   Setup > Setup Services > Client Facing Name, Service Description, Deposit Required
□   Setup > Setup Classes > Client Facing Name, Class Description
□   Setup > Setup Memberships > Client Facing Name, Description
□   Setup > Setup Packages > Client Facing Name, Client Self-Booking, Client Self-Purchase, Description
