Inventory Usage by Date Report

Inventory Usage by Date Report

Location: Reports > Inventory & Gift Reports

The Inventory Usage Report lists each product recorded in the Product Usage feature within the Inventory area of the software. This report can be exported or printed at any time.

To generate this report, select a date range, choose to report by company or individual workers, then click Generate.

What’s Included in the Report
  • Product
  • Cost (per item)
  • Quantity used
  • Total cost
  • Used by (Worker or Company)
  • Worker name (if applicable)
  • Date-based totals
  • Grand total cost across all dates
Columns Defined: 
  • Product - Displays the product name
    • A darker row beneath will show the date, separating usage by day
  • Cost Each - Shows the standard cost per item
  • Quantity -Displays how many units were used
  • Total Cost -Shows the total value used for that item (cost each × quantity)
  • Used By - Indicates whether the usage was assigned to a worker or the company
  • Used By Worker - Displays the worker’s name when usage is assigned to a worker
    • Note: “Used By” and “Used By Worker” are selected during the inventory usage entry
  • Delete - Removes the usage record from the report                                                                     
    • Note: This does not undo the actual inventory usage entry

 
Totals & Date Breakdown                                                                                                 
  • Each date is separated by a dark blue row, showing:
    • Total quantity used for that day
    • Total cost for that day
  • At the bottom of the report, a totals row displays:                                  
    • Total quantity for the selected date range
    • Total cost for the selected date range
At the bottom of the report, a totals row will display the total quantity used across all products and the total cost of all inventory usage





This report helps track product usage, monitor costs, and review usage history across workers or the entire company 
Notes
To control whether staff can make inventory adjustments:
Go to Setup → Setup Worker Permissions, then navigate to the Page Category dropdown and select Inventory
