Marketing: List Builder Definitions
The Inspire Enhanced and Enhanced Plus packages include List Builders to define a specific list of clients to send an email to. Below are descriptions of the lists you can generate in Marketing > Lists > List Builder.
Please wait for a notification at the top that will read "Your list has been successfully added. Please now check under the list section." Traditionally a list of 100 clients can take up to 1 minute and a list of 5000 clients can take up to 10 minutes to generate. If your list seems to have less than the normal amount of clients, regenerate the list and confirm you received the message.
Only clients who are enabled to receive Marketing emails will display in the list. To confirm, go to Client Card > Client Profile > Marketing and confirm the client is opted in with a Primary or Secondary email and that the Primary or Secondary email is noted in the Client Info tab.
Appointment Status - A list will generate of active clients with an appointment currently in the status selected for the date range selected.
Example: Completed appointments from 1/1/21 to 1/31/21 or Booked appointments from 3/1/21 to 3/31/21.
Clients who Received this Service - A list will generate of active clients who received the service selected for all time and the ticket was completed.
Example: Any client who has ever had a pedicure.
Clients who Received a Service in this Group - A list will generate of active clients with an email who received a service within the service group selected for all time and the ticket was completed.
Example: Any client who has ever had a color service.
Client Flag List - A list will generate of active clients who have the client flag selected from Clients > Client Profile > Client Flag.
Example: Clients who are flagged VIP.
Client with Birthdate Between - A list will generate of active clients who have a birthdate entered in Clients > Client Profile within the Start Date and End date entered.
Example: Client Birthdate is7/14/1984 would be on a list that ran a range for 1/1/1900 - 1/1/2000.
Client Birthmonth is - A list will generate of active clients who have a birthdate entered in Clients > Client Profile with the Birth Month Selected.
Example: Client Birthday is 7/14/1984 and another Client Birthday is 7/2/2010 would appear on a list generated for July.
Clients who had services by - A list will generate of active clients who have had services by the selected worker.
Example: Clients who have had an appointment with Sally S.
Clients who Visited Only Once in Salon - A list will generate of active clients who only have one completed ticket for all time.
Example: Client came in on 12/7/2017 and has never returned, they would appear on the list of clients who only visited once.
Clients who Referred Other Clients - A list will generate for active clients who have referred someone to your business and it was noted in Clients> Client Profile > Referred for all time.
Example: If Client A referred Client B to your business then Client A would be on the generated list.
Select Gender List - A list will generate of active clients where the gender was noted in Clients > Client Profile.
Example: If Client A was noted as Female, and the gender "female" was selected, she would appear on the list.
Product Purchased - A list will generate of active clients who purchased a product in the selected product line within the date range entered.
Example: If the product line "TIGI - Bed Head" was chosen and the date range was 2/1/21 to 2/28/21, then a client who purchased an After Party Smoothing Cream (a TIGI - Bed Head product) on 2/14/21 would appear on the list.
Clients Type - A list will generate where a client is active or inactive as noted on the Client Card > Client Profile tab.
Example: If a client is marked "Inactive" and the list to generate is for inactive clients, they would appear on the list.
Cross Referenced Multiple Filter List - A marketing filter with multiple appointment or client filtering capabilities allows you to drill down to a specific list.
Example: If you input All Genders with a birthday between 1/1/1900 to 1/1/2000, a Pedicure service and the Service dates of 2/1/21 to 2/28/21, then an active client born on 10/14/1983 who had a pedicure on 2/13/21 would be on the list.
Clients who's Last Visit was Between - A list of active clients who had their last completed ticket (service, product or other) between the date ranges entered.
Example: If a client had their last completed ticket on 2/10/2021 and the date ranges was 2/1/2021 - 2/15/2021, they would be on the generated list. A client who had their last visit on 1/27/2021 or if they had a booked but not completed appointment on 2/4/2021 would not.
Top Clients - A list of active clients who spent the most on Service Only, Retail Only or Service and Retail and the total number of clients to search for.
Example: A list of top 20 clients who spent the most on product for all time.
Promotions - A list of active clients who used the selected promotion on a completed ticket for all time.
Example: If a client used a promotion in checkout for $20 Off a Service, they would appear on this list if it was generated for "$20 Off a Service"
Upselling - A list of active clients who have not had the service selected for all time.
Example: If a client has never had a completed ticket with a pedicure, and "Pedicure" was the selected service, they would appear on this list.
Membership - A list of clients enrolled with a membership selected that the membership is currently active or inactive and the billing occurred between the Start Date and End Date.
Example: If a member has the "Blow Out Membership", is currently active and was billed between January 1 and January 31 they would appear on the list.
Gift Cards - A list will generate where an active client purchased a gift between the Start Date and End Date.
Example: If a client purchased at $100 gift card in December 2020, and the dates were 12/1/20 to 12/31/20, they would appear on this list.
Ticket Rating - A list will generate where a client's completed ticket had the selected Ticket Rating or All that completed on the Start Date or End Date entered.
Example: If a completed ticket on 1/5/21 was marked with a good ticket rating aka :-), if the generated list was for tickets with good rating between 1/1/21 to 1/31/21, they would appear on the list.
