The Monthly Business Analysis Report reviews completed tickets (including refunds) for a selected month and year, and compares the results to the same month from the previous year. The final column displays the percentage of change, making it easy to track year-over-year performance. This report can also be exported or printed at any time.
This report is commonly used by many Aveda salons to evaluate monthly business trends and growth.
How to Generate the Report:

Table Breakdown
The report displays a table with the following columns:
Category Column
Each row represents a business metric:
Total Sales → Combined total of all service, product, and other sales
Service Sales → Total revenue from service-related transactions
Product Sales → Total revenue from retail product sales
Selected Service Groups % of Service Sales → Percentage of total service revenue made up by selected service groups
Total Number of Tickets → Total completed tickets (including refunds) within the selected month
% of Service Tickets with at Least One Product → Percentage of service tickets that include at least one product sale
Average Service Amount per Service Ticket → Average revenue generated per service ticket
% Booked (Productivity) → Displays the percentage booked (Completed Ticket Hours ÷ Worked Hours)
% Rebooked → Percentage of clients who scheduled another appointment before leaving
Selected Product Line Sales → Total sales for selected product lines
Year Column - Displays the total values for each category based on the selected year when generating the report.
Prior Year Column - Displays the total values for each category from the previous year for comparison.
% Change Column - Shows the percentage difference between the selected year and the prior year for each category.
