STX Worker App Guide



Getting Started

Download the App

The STX Worker App is available on the App Store for iOS or Google Play for Android.  

Login  

To access the STX Worker App, the login is the same as for the browser version at stxcloud.com. For security reasons, the software will automatically log out if inactive for greater than 12 hours. 

Remember Me Checkbox

Users can select ‘Remember Me’ to keep their login credentials entered.

Notifications

Workers will receive notifications to their phone when the client’s appointment status is updated to be Checked In.  Users can manage the receipt of these notifications from your phone’s notification settings.

Appointments

Summary: From the Appointments area users can view their book, schedule new appointments, find appointments, check in a client, update appointment notes, update service notes and modify appointments.  

Select a date

Tap the currently displayed date to select a date in the past or future.  To move forward or backward one date, use the left and right arrows next to the date displayed.

View a Different Worker’s Appointment Book

Tap WORKER to select a different workers appointment book to view.
View a Appointment Details
Tap on an Appointment to view additional information on the appointment. 

Appointment Notes

From the Appointment Detail page, the Appointment Notes are available to view or edit.  Appointment notes are specific to their visit for all workers to view.  
Example: Running 5 mins late -or- would like an eyebrow wax if possible.

Service Notes

From the Appointment Detail page, Tap the arrow next to the service to line item.  Enter the service notes into the field and Tap SAVE.  Example: 5N w/ 20 vol for 45 mins.

Update Status or Visit Type

From the Appointment Detail page, select the Appointment Status or Visit Type drop downs and Tap SAVE.

Check In Appointment 

From the Appointment Detail page, Tap CHECK IN and then Tap SAVE.

Book an Appointment

  1. Simply tap the time you wish to book an appointment on the calendar
  2. Search for a client name, phone or email, Tap + to add a new client or SKIP to book an appointment with no client.  Note: a minimum of 3 characters is required to search. 
  3. Confirm the date & time and if needed, update the selections
  4. Select a Worker / Service combination
  5. Tap + to add more Worker / Service combinations
    1. Enter any appointment notes (optional)
    2. Select a Visit Type (optional)
  6. Tap BOOK APPOINTMENT

Find an Appointment

  1. Tap FIND APPT in the upper left side of the Appointments tab
  2. Search for a client name, phone or email or Tap + to add a new client. Note: a minimum of 3 characters is required to search.
  3. Select the date to search for an appointment
  4. Use the single arrows to move forward or back one day, use the double arrows to move forward or backward by week
  5. Select a Worker / Service combination
  6. Tap + to add more Worker / Service combinations
  7. Tap SEARCH
  8. Results will display below, scroll down to see all the options
  9. Select a time 
  10. Tap BOOK

Modify an Appointment

  1. Tap on an Appointment
  2. Tap MODIFY
  3. Update time or date of the appointment, add or remove services.
  4. Tap Search
  5. Select a new time
  6. Tap BOOK

Clients

Summary: STXWorker App users will be able to view client contact info, client profile details, service history, service notes and product purchase history all from their phone.

Search for a Client 

Tap CLIENTS in the bottom left, search by name, phone or email.  Results will display, select the client and their card will appear.

View a Client Card from an Appointment 

Tap the Appointment, then Tap the Client Name.

Client Info

  1. Client Photo, Name, Primary Phone, Mobile Phone & Email display
  2. If they are opted in to receive SMS messages, the checkbox is clicked
  3. Last Appointment & Next appointment are displayed
  4. Client Notes are editable, after you enter text - scroll down to click SAVE
    1. Example: Loves dogs, red wine and has 2 kids.
  5. Booking Alerts display below the Client Notes, if NONE there are no booking alerts
  6. Client Gender, Birthdate, Client Flags and Occupation display below Booking Alert

Edit Client Info

  1. From Client Info, scroll down and tap EDIT
  2. Client Info allows users to edit basic client contact info
  3. Client Profile allows user to edit or add booking alerts, gender, occupation, birthdate and client flags.
  4. Click SAVE when finished

Add or Edit Client Photo

  1. From Client Info, scroll down and tap EDIT
  2. Tap Client Profile 
  3. Select Add or Edit Photo 
  4. Choose Camera to take a photo or Gallery to use your photo album
  5. Once snapped or selected, process is complete

Remove Client Photo

  1. From Client Info, scroll down and tap EDIT
  2. Tap Client Profile 
  3. Select REMOVE

Service History 

From the Client Card, tap Service History and see the list of previous service dates, price, notes.

View or Update Past Service Notes

From the Client Card, tap Service History and select 

Product History 

From the Client Card, tap Service History and see the list of previous service dates, price, notes.

Check Out

Summary: Check In & Check Out clients, apply payments and email receipts. 

Client Check In

Select CHECKOUT and click the CHECK IN BUTTON or click on the appointment and select the CHECK IN button.

Client Check Out

Select CHECKOUT, then the checkout tab then the CHECK OUT button.

Completed Tickets

Select CHECKOUT, then the COMPLETE tab. Simply click a ticket number to see the ticket.

Create New Ticket

Select CHECKOUT, click + NEW TICKET and select a client.  Add Services, Products, Tips, Promotions, Apply Rewards and mark ticket as paid.

Email Receipt

Once the ticket is completed, simply click the EMAIL RECEIPT button.

General

Summary: Easy access to logout, Billboard, Dashboard or to contact Inspire.

Logout

Select LOGOUT to log out of the STXWorker App.

Contact Inspire Support

Selecting CONTACT INSPIRE SUPPORT will navigate you to your default browser to go to our Inspire Contact Us page.

Billboard Goals

Select the INSPIRE LOGO, then click BILLBOARD GOALS to view the goals for the company or worker.

Dashboard

Select the INSPIRE LOGO, then click DASHBOARD to view the dashboard for the company or worker.
