Tippy Transaction - Ticket Changes


Update Ticket - Add, Remove or Update Line Items

Once the Send to Tippy button has been clicked, a pop up will display. On the left, instructions will display on how to proceed with a Tippy and Credit Card transaction. If you need to make changes to the ticket:
  1. First, click the Update Ticket button
  2. Make changes to the ticket from the Inspire by STX Checkout page
    1. Update Assigned Worker
    2. Add or Remove Services and Products
    3. Add Other or Misc Items
  3. Click Send to Tippy again.  
  4. The Tippy page will reset with the updated worker service totals to choose new tip amounts.
    1. Note: The Tippy Device receiving the new ticket information from Inspire by STX may take some time to reset. 
  5. Proceed with the Tippy Tip updating the tip amounts.

Transactions without Tippy Tips

If the client is not going to use Tippy but the Send to Tippy has been clicked, follow these steps:
  1. Ask the client to select NO TIP in the upper right hand corner
  2. Then click Continue to Payment
Warning: Please do not leave or refresh the checkout page, moving forward is always the preferred route. 

Void Ticket

If the Send to Tippy button has been clicked and you need to completely void the ticket:
  1. Click the Update Ticket button
  2. Click the Void Ticket button 
  3. Choose the option to Void Ticket and Delete the Appointment
Warning: Do not choose the Reset to Booked Status option when voiding, a ticket cannot be sent to Tippy twice.  If you need to, reschedule the original appointment to generate a new ticket related to the appointment. Also, completed Tippy transcations cannot be voided.
