Why Does a Terminated Worker Still Appear on the Appointment Calendar?

Overview
After terminating a worker, you may still see their name on the Appointment Calendar. This is expected behavior and is designed to ensure any existing client appointments remain visible, making it easy to identify, reassign, modify, or cancel them so no scheduled clients are overlooked during staffing changes.

How It Works
When you terminate a worker:
  1. Navigate to Setup > Worker Details.
  2. Select the worker you wish to terminate.
  3. Enter the Termination Date and save your changes.
Once terminated, the worker will no longer be available for booking future appointments.

However, if the worker already has appointments scheduled on a selected day, their worker column will continue to appear only on the dates where those appointments exist.

The calendar will display the worker's scheduled appointments while blocking out any remaining unbooked time during their normal working hours.

This allows you to easily identify existing appointments and reassign them to another worker, modify the appointment, or cancel them as needed, while preventing any new appointments from being booked with the terminated worker.

How to Proceed with Existing Appointments
For appointments assigned to a terminated worker, you can:
  • Drag the appointment to another worker's column to quickly reassign it.
  • Open the appointment and manually modify to select a different worker.
  • Cancel the appointment, if necessary.

InfoQuick Tip: If you have filters applied on the Appointment Calendar to display only selected workers, service groups, or worker levels, the terminated worker's column may or may not appear. If you do not see the worker, clear or adjust your filters to display all applicable appointments.
