Setup Compensation Methods

Inspire offers creating Compensation Methods to perform your payroll calculations.  To setup your Compensation Methods go to Setup > Setup Workers > Setup Compensation Methods.  Below are the most commonly used methods but the options are limitless.

HOURLY PAY

Workers are paid by the time they were clocked in (or adjusted) for multiplied by their hourly wage.



SERVICE ONLY COMMISSIONS

Workers are paid by their completed ticket service sales multiplied by a percent. 



RETAIL ONLY COMMISSIONS

Workers are paid by their completed ticket product sales multiplied by a percent.



SERVICE AND RETAIL COMMISSIONS

Workers are paid by their completed ticket service sales multiplied by a percent, then their product sales multiplied by a percent. 


HOURLY PLUS COMMISSION PAY

Workers are paid by their completed ticket service sales multiplied by a percent and their hours worked multiplied by hourly wage.



HOURLY VS. SERVICE GUARANTEE

Workers are paid by either their hourly wage multiplied by hours worked, or their service sales commissions - whichever is greater. 



SUBTRACT SERVICE FEE OFF THE TOP

Workers are paid by their completed ticket service sales, minus the service fee, then multiplied by a percent.



SUBTRACT SERVICE FEE OFF THE BOTTOM

Workers are paid by their completed ticket service sales multiplied by a percent, then the service fee is subtracted.



SERVICE COMMISSIONS USING A SCALE

Workers are paid by their completed ticket service sales multiplied by a scale to determine the percent. First, setup the Commissions Scale in Setup > Setup Workers > Setup Compensation Scales.



Then, create the Compensation Method in Setup > Setup Workers > Setup Compensation Methods.



RETAIL COMMISSIONS USING A SCALE

Workers are paid by their completed ticket service retail multiplied by a scale to determine the percent.  First, setup the Commissions Scale in Setup > Setup Workers > Setup Compensation Scales



Then, create the Compensation Method in Setup > Setup Workers > Setup Compensation Methods
