IMPORTANT: Major Day-to-Day changes to Inspire by STX Software v2.6
IMPORTANT CHANGES IN v2.6: The following are MAJOR changes to your software,
please read these items carefully and communicate them with your team.
Change Back - Prior to this version, the Change Back and Tip were intertwined. We
removed the interaction between the two and now the Change Back will stay as-is and
the tip will be entered separately from the Change Back value.
Additionally, any ticket that is over paid for, the software will assume the change back
was a Cash transaction and that will reflect on the Payment List Report, Total Sheet
Report and Cash Counting.
Locations: Checkout > Completed Tickets, Reports > Total Sheet & Payment List
Location: Setup > Setup Workers > Setup Permissions
Payment List Report Updates - Prior to this version, the Payment List Report only
displayed the payments accepted and did not display or consider change back. The
Payment List Report now displays the Payment Amount, Change Back and Payment
Total. When change back was provided on any payment type, it is assumed as Cash
was given back and will be deducted from the Cash total in the Payment List Report
summary at the bottom.

Cash Counting - Now that Change Back is assumed as Cash was given back to the
client, the Cash Counting payment type totals will now deduct Change Back from the
Cash total.

Report Locations Changes - The following reports have been moved:
Itemized Sales Report moved from Transaction Reports to Sales Reports
Account Balances Report moved from Transaction Reports to Appointment & Client
Reports
Client Retention Report moved from Business Analysis Reports to Appointment & Client
Reports
Rebook Report moved from Business Analysis Reports to Appointment & Client Reports
Sales Analysis Report moved from Sales Reports to Business Analysis Reports
Product Sales by Rank Report moved from Sales to Inventory & Gift Reports
Tip Summary Report moved from Transaction Reports to Compensation Reports
Top Clients moved from Business Analysis Reports to Appointment & Client Reports
Worker Role Removed - Previously, there was a setting for ‘Worker Role’ in Setup
Worker > Worker Details. If the Worker Role was set as Business Owner or Manager,
the software permitted access to Time Clock Adjustments and sent email alerts when a
client with a Booking Alert scheduled an appointment online. To re-enable those
features per worker, those features are now located here:
Time Clock Adjustment: Go to Setup > Setup Worker > Setup Permissions and
select the Time Clock Adjustment checkbox to provide access. By default, the
setting for those who were not business owners will be deselected.
Booking Alert Email Notifications: Go to Setup > Setup Appointments &
Emails > Online Booking tab. There is a new setting for “Send notifications for
clients booked online with booking alerts”, simply click the checkbox to enable
and enter the email(s) to send to. If using multiple emails, separate with a
comma.
Daily Cash Drawer Report, Tips Left in Drawer removed - The Daily Cash Drawer report will no longer note the Tips Left in Drawer. To see details on the Tips Left in Drawer, go to Reports > Compensation Reports > Tip Detail or Tip Summary Report.

Card on File is now Token on File - The Payment Type for "Card on File" has been renamed "Token on File" in Checkout and Reporting.
Location: Checkout > Payments and Transaction Reports
Refunds Removed from some Report Calculations - The following reports will no longer consider Refunds in their calculations: Product Sales Report, Employee Analysis Report, Dashboard Sales, Visit Type Overview.

STX Cloud is now Inspire by STX - Recently we made the decision to jazz up the name
of our software from STX Cloud to Inspire by STX. Throughout the program, you will
notice updates to our logos and such to reflect this change.
