Inspire v2.9 Release Notes
This version is due to be released in January 2023.
Client-Facing Client Form (NEW!) - The Client Form is now available as a merge field on the Notifications and Reminders merge field drop downs. Simply add {{ClientForm}} to your notifications and reminders and a link allowing clients to access the Client Form without logging in will appear.
Location: Setup > Setup Notifications & Reminders -or- Client Card > Go to Client Form
Appointment Cancellation Option added to Confirmation Page (NEW!) - An option to allow clients to cancel their appointment has been added under the Setup > Setup Notifications & Reminders > Setup Confirmation Page > Show Cancel Appointment Button. Once enabled, clients could click the confirmation link to confirm or click the Cancel Appointment button to cancel from the confirmation page.

Online Booking URL Merge Field (NEW!) - The Online Booking URL is now available as a merge field on the Confirmation Page.

Online Gift URL Merge Field (NEW!) - The Online Gift URL is now available as a merge field on the Confirmation Page.

SalonInteractive Integration (NEW!) - Inspire by STX now offers a premium integration with SalonInteractive. The benefits include populating Product Lines direct from Supplier to your Inspire by STX software. Once integrated, your business will be able to send Product Orders direct to the supplier or SalonInteractive for ordering. Additionally, SalonInteractive offers a free e-commerce site setup within 5 minutes that ships the product for you and pays commission. Main Setup Page (Enhancement) - The setup page has been updated to be a list of Setup categories, rather that bubbles nested within bubbles. Many of the setup pages have been revised, moved to a new category or moved to be their own unique page. Additional information noted below.

Setup Worker Details (Enhancement) - The Setup Worker details page has been reformatted to include all required or common fields to the Profile tab and the record keeping information to the Other Tab.

Setup Appointments & Emails (Enhancement) - Setup Appointments and Emails has been re-labled as Setup Client Interactions with these additional changes:
- The Setup Booking Preferences tab is now a single page and relocated under the Setup Company category
- Notifications, Reminders & Confirmation Page tabs are now a single page and relocated under the Setup Client Interactions category
- Online Booking tab is now a single page and relocated under the Setup Client Interactions category
- Gift tab is now a single page and relocated under the Setup Client Interactions category

Online Booking Preferences (Enhancement) - The Online Booking settings have been updated to be spread across multiple tabs on the new Setup Online Booking Page located under the Setup Client Interactions category.

Online Gift Settings & URL (Enhancement) - The Online Gift URL and enabling Online Gift Sales has been moved to Setup Gifts under the Setup Client Interactions category.

Setup POS & POS Devices Tabs (Enhancement) - The Setup Ticket Preferences tabs POS & POS Devices have been moved to their own page labeled as POS & POS Devices under the Setup Ticket Preferences Category.

Setup Favorites Tab (Enhancement) - The Setup Ticket Preferences tab Favorites has been moved to it's own page as Setup Favorites.

Setup Payment Types (Enhancement) - The Setup Payment Types page has been moved from Setup Company to the Setup Ticket Preferences category.

Setup Packages (Enhancement) - The Setup Packages page has been moved from Setup Services to the Setup Packages & Memberships category.

Setup Memberships (Enhancement) - The Setup Memberships page has been moved from Setup Services to the Setup Packages & Memberships category.

Setup Client Forms (Enhancement) - The Setup Client Form Questions & Setup Client Form Checkboxes have been moved from Setup Client Preferences to their own Setup Client Forms page located under the Setup Client Card category.

Setup Promotions (Enhancement) - The Setup Promotions page has been moved from Setup Marketing to Setup Ticket Preferences.

Setup Rewards (Enhancement) - The Setup Rewards page has been moved from Setup Marketing to Setup Ticket Preferences.

Remove 01- From Receipt (Enhancement) - The country code has been removed from the email and print receipt options.

New Permissions Added in Inspire by STX v2.9:
- Consultation Tab (Clients category) - Allows worker to access to the Consultation tab on the client card, but would not allow access to the Client Form.
- If the “Consultation Form” permission setting was enabled, this permission at the time of release will also be enabled.
- Client Form (Clients category) - Allows worker to access the Client Form from the Clients area or Client Card
- If the “Consultation Form” permission setting was enabled, this permission at the time of release will also be enabled.
- Setup Client Form (Setup Other)
- If the “Setup Client Preferences” permission setting was enabled, this permission at the time of release will also be enabled.
- Setup Booking Preferences (Setup Company) - Allows worker to access the Setup Booking Preferences page.
- If the “Appointments & Emails” permission setting was enabled, this permission at the time of release will also be enabled.
- Setup Online Booking (Setup Other) - Allows worker to access the Setup Online Booking page.
- If the “Appointments & Emails” permission setting was enabled, this permission at the time of release will also be enabled.
- Setup Notifications & Reminders (Setup Other) - Allows worker to access the Setup Notifications & Reminders page.
- If the “Appointments & Emails” permission setting was enabled, this permission at the time of release will also be enabled.
- Setup Gifts (Setup Other) - Allows the worker to access the Setup Gifts page.
- *If the “Appointments & Emails” permission setting was enabled, this permission at the time of release will also be enabled.
- Setup POS & POS Devices (Setup Other) - Allows worker to access the Setup
- If the “Setup Ticket Preferences” permission setting was enabled, this permission at the time of release will also be enabled.
- Setup Favorites (Setup Other) - Allows the worker to access the Setup Favorites page.
- If the “Setup Ticket Preferences” permission setting was enabled, this permission at the time of release will also be enabled.
