Payment Types: Apply Cash Discount

This feature will be available in v4.4 due out in August 2025. 

For businesses enrolled in the STX Payments Cash Discounting Program, if you would like a payment type to be treated like Cash follow these steps:
  1. Go to Setup > Setup Payment Types
  2. Select the Payment Type 
  3. Enable the Checkbox for 'Apply Cash Discount'
  4. Click Save

IMPORTANT: Before using the Apply Cash Discount setting on the Gift Redeem or Account Balance Payment Types, it's essential to consider that Gift Sales, Deposits and Prepayments do not automatically add NCP to be fully compliant.  For full details on the parameters and regulations, visit https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Dt7Hq9yQVA

The following Payment Types are not eligible for Apply Cash Discount:
  1. Clover & Clover Manual
  2. Inspire Pay & Inspire Pay Manual
  3. Token on File
