Inspire v3.2 Release Notes

Inspire v3.2 was released on December 12th, 2023.
Permissions will need to be updated to utilize some new features and some new features are attached to existing permissions, the related permission is noted in orange under the location of the feature.

Online Booking Appointment Search before Login Page (NEW!) - A new link has been added to Setup Online Booking to offer the ability for clients to search for an appointment or class first and then create an account or login to Online Booking. To implement, you'll need to update your Online Booking Link to the Appointment Search URL.  Click Here to learn more.

Assign Ticket Date  (NEW!) - The ticket date can now be adjusted using the Edit Ticket Details button from the completed ticket. This new feature will be a great option to correct tickets for payroll purposes.  Click Here to learn more.

Reopen Ticket  (NEW!) - A button has been added to allow a completed ticket to be reopened to make adjustments to the line items and payments. View full details of our Reopen Ticket Best Practices

Related Permission: Tickets Category > Reopen Ticket (disabled by default)

Cash Drawer Updates (Enhancement) - The Cash Drawer will now be two tabs, one for Open Drawer and one for Close Drawer.  The open drawer tab will display the opening drawer amounts and a new option to Reopen the Open Drawer is now available.

Appointment Value Added to Canceled Appointment Report (Enhancement) - The value of the services booked has been added to the Canceled Appointment Report that will tell you the amount in Cancelations and/or No Shows for the dates generated.

Appointment Detail Hyperlink added to Cancelation Report (Enhancement) - View the Appointment Details on the Cancelation Report by clicking on the appointment.

Client Account Balance Display (Enhancement) - Previously on a ticket, a client's account balance displayed with a negative to indicate a credit was owed and a positive to note a balance was due.  Changes have been made to display "Client Owes: $50.00" in red or "Client Credit: $10.00" in green.  Click Here to learn more.

Auto-Assign a Gift Expiration Date (NEW!) - Businesses can now set a default expiration date to be assigned to Gifts. Click Here to learn more.

Time Clock Adjustments (Enhancement) - Apply Schedule has been added to the Time Clock Check In / Checkout page.  Click Here to learn more.

Display ~ on Appointment for Any Worker (Enhancement) - if Any Worker was selected via Online Booking or using the Find Appointment feature, a ~ will now appear on the Appointment before the Client Name.

Report View (Enhancement) - The reports have been enhanced to provide more space to view the report and instead of asking Company / Worker and then selecting a worker, now it displays the Company Name followed by a list of workers in a single drop down.

Hide $0.00 Line Items on Total Sheet (Enhancement) - A new checkbox is available to Hide $0.00 line items on the Total Sheet.

Ticket Sales Report (Enhancement) - The Ticket Sales Report now includes Tips.

Option to Include Inactive Products on Inventory Usage (Enhancement) - Inactive Products can now be included on the Inventory Usage page.

Option to Include Professional Products on Checkout (Enhancement) - Professional Products can now be enabled to display on the Checkout Page. Click Here to learn more.

Text or Email Message included on Client Card (Enhancement) - The details of the Text Message and Email Message are now available to view from the Communications tab. Simply hover over the View Message icon.  
Emails or Texts sent prior to the release date will not display on the communication tab.

Client Card Print Appointment List Order (Enhancement) - The order in which we display the printed list of future appointments has been updated to be reversed.

Custom Hours Entry (Enhancement) - Entering Hours into Custom Hours will now accept entries such as 10 or 6 and automatically reformat to the accepted 10:00 AM or 6:00 PM formatting.

Receipt Updates (Enhancement) - The Ticket Date, Cash Drawer and Shift have been added to the receipt.

Payment Notes added to Edit Ticket Details (Enhancement) - To view or update the Payment Notes, simply click on the Edit Ticket Details button on a completed ticket.

No Cash Drawer Text Color (Enhancement) - If the Cash Drawer is not assigned, the NO CASH DRAWER will now appear in red instead of green on the Checkout page.

Setup Product Select Supplier is now a Multi-Pick List (Enhancement) - Selecting a supplier or multiple suppliers is now a multi-pick list option on Setup Products.

Online Deposit by Level / Custom Price (Enhancement) - If a deposit is required to book a service, the percent feature will now charge based on the selected worker's level or custom price.

Online Price Display (Enhancement) - If "Any Worker" is selected, a price will not display until a worker has been selected and then will display the worker's level price or custom price.
