Release Notes v2.4


STX Cloud v2.4 includes amazing updates to inventory, reports and classes plus much more!

IMPORTANT: Access to features may require updating the Worker Permissions to view. Please check Setup> Workers> Worker Permissions to provide access to new features.


STX Cloud Guides (NEW!) - Quick training guides are now linked on the Navigation Menu to get quick access to helpful STX Cloud tips.


Location: Navigation Menu > STX Cloud Guides


Classes (NEW!) - Setup classes similar to services to be scheduled in-store or online. All online classes require integrated card processing with STX Payments and paying for the class in full online is required to book.

Location: Appointment Book > Book Class or Online Booking > Book Class


Express Booking Default Worker (Enhancement) - Express booking appointments will now assume the same worker is preferred for the added services.

Location: Appointment Book > Express Book


Waiting List Counter (Enhancement) - The total count of items on the waiting list will now appear in a red circle on the Waiting List button.

Location: Appointment Book> Waiting List


Appointment Book Date Circle (Enhancement) - The current selected date will have a white circle around the currently selected date.

Location: Appointment Book > Calendar


Appointment Refresh (Enhancement) - The appointment book page will refresh every 5 minutes. Location: Appointment Book
Unpaid Tickets (Enhancement) - Unpaid ticket count & value now appears in Cash Counting. Location: Checkout > Checkout List > Refunds

Products Tab on Checkout (Enhancement) - The Products tab on the Checkout page now displays only Retail products, sorts alphabetically and allows you to filter by a Product Line in a drop down on the bottom of the page.

Gift Refunds (Enhancement) - Unused Gifts can now be refunded. Location: Checkout > Checkout List > Refunds


Worker Initials on Checkout (Enhancement) - The worker’s initials will appear next to the services or products they were given credit for selling on the Checkout screen.

Location: Checkout


Promotions Listed Separately (Enhancement) - When a promotion is applied, the full amount of the Product or Service will display and the Promotion will be a separate line item.

Location: Checkout > Promotions


Rewards Listed Separately (Enhancement) - When a reward is applied, the full amount of the Product or Service will display and the Reward discount will be a separate line item.

Location: Checkout > Rewards


Products Listed Separately (Enhancement) - Products will display as separate line items when there are multiple qualities of the product.

Location: Checkout > Products


Refund Product & Restock (Enhancement) - Products will display as separate line items when there are multiple quantities of the product on Refund and a new checkbox appears to note if you want to restock the item. If you check the box to restock, the On Hand number for that product will increase. If the restock button is unchecked, the On Hand number will not be effected.

Location: Checkout > Refund by Client Name or Refund by Ticket Number


Physical Checklist (NEW!) - Take a physical count of your on hand product, enter the count of the products and click save, then the On Hand number will update. If the Count is different than the current On Hand number, then the difference will appear on the Inventory Adjustment Report.

Purchase Order Type (Enhancement) - Purchase Orders now have a selection to order Professional and Retail products, Retail Only or Professional Only.

Location: Inventory> Purchase Orders


Manage Inventory Print Button (Enhancement) - An option to print a list of the inventory is now available by clicking the PRINT button.

Location: Inventory > Manage Inventory


Multiple Product SKUs (Enhancement) - Products can now have multiple SKUs assigned. The first SKU number will be the default SKU displayed on Purchase Orders and Reports. Added SKUs can be searched in Checkout, Purchase Orders, Inventory Usage, etc.

Location: Setup > Setup Inventory > Setup Products


Product Stock Number (Enhancement) - Products can now have a Stock Number entered in Setup Products and will display secondary on the Purchase Order.

Location: Setup > Setup Inventory > Setup Products


Send Test Notification or Reminder Email (Enhancement) - When setting up Reminders & Notifications, enter the email address to send the test email to and click “Send Test Email” button.

Location: Setup > Setup Appointments & Emails> Notifications / Reminders tab



Send Email of Future Appointment (NEW!) - On the Appointments tab on the Client Card, simply click the “Send Email of Future Appointments” button to email the list to the client.

Location: Clients > Appointments tab > Send Email of Future Appointments


Gender Option Changed (Enhancement) - The gender option “Unspecified” has been changed to be “Non-Binary”.


Payment List Multi-Pick List for Payment Type (NEW!) - On the Payment Type Report users can now select multiple payment types to filter on the report.

Product Sales by Rank Cost of Goods & ROI% (Enhancement) - The Cost of Goods and Return on Investment Percent (ROI%) have been added to the report. Sort Options also available to update the results.

Location: Reports > Sales Reports > Product Sales by Rank


On Hand Product Product Report by Type (Enhancement) - Filter the results of the On Hand Product Report to display Retail & Professional, Retail Only and Professional Only.

Location: Reports > Inventory & Gift Reports > On Hand Product Report


TBP Report New Items (Enhancement) - Additional items have been added to the TBP Report; Number of Rebooked Appointments, Number of Good Ticket Ratings, Total Number of Tickets, Average Product per Client Ticket

Location: Reports > Business Analysis Reports > TBP Report


Worker Service Report (NEW!) - This new report generates a list of the services a worker is enabled to offer along with the duration, price, service fee, etc.

Location: Reports > Setup Reports > Worker Service Report


Worker Schedule Report (NEW!) - This new report generates the schedule for a date range for all workers or a specific worker. If there is a Company Day Off or Custom Worker Day Off or Custom Hours the note will appear also.

Location: Reports > Setup Reports > Worker Schedule Report


Time Clock Report (NEW!) - This new report generates a list of the time clocked in and out for all workers or a specific worker with their total hours.

Location: Reports > Compensation Reports > Time Clock Report


Print All Workers Payroll Details (Enhancement) - Once a payroll date range has been archived, a new button appears to Print Detail which will print the detailed report for all workers.

Location: Reports > Compensation Reports > Process Compensation


Additional Notes: All Reports now have the client name hyperlinked to the client card and the ticket number hyperlinked to the ticket. Also, there are new marketing templates for Enhanced STX Cloud users for Automated Campaigns.
