IMPORTANT CHANGES IN v2.6
The following are MAJOR changes to your software, please read these items carefully and communicate them with your team.
Change Back - Prior to this version, the Change Back and Tip were intertwined. We removed the interaction between the two and now the Change Back will stay as-is and the tip will be entered separately from the Change Back value.
Additionally, any ticket that is over paid for, the software will assume the change back was a Cash transaction and that will reflect on the Payment List Report, Total Sheet Report and Cash Counting.
Book Appointment Permission changed to Express Booking and Find Appointment Permissions - The former "Book Appointment" permission has been updated to be the Express Booking permission by default and now the Find Appointment permission is a separate permission.
Payment List Report Updates - Prior to this version, the Payment List Report only displayed the payments accepted and did not display or consider change back. The Payment List Report now displays the Payment Amount, Change Back and Payment Total. When change back was provided on any payment type, it is assumed as Cash was given back and will be deducted from the Cash total in the Payment List Report summary at the bottom.
Cash Counting - Now that Change Back is assumed as Cash was given back to the client, the Cash Counting payment type totals will now deduct Change Back from the Cash total.

Itemized Sales Report moved from Transaction Reports to Sales Reports

Worker Role Removed - Previously, there was a setting for ‘Worker Role’ in Setup Worker > Worker Details. If the Worker Role was set as Business Owner or Manager, the software permitted access to Time Clock Adjustments and sent email alerts when a client with a Booking Alert scheduled an appointment online. To re-enable those features per worker, those features are now located here:
Time Clock Adjustment: Go to Setup > Setup Worker >
Setup Permissions and select the Time Clock Adjustment checkbox to provide access. By default, the setting for those who were not business owners will be deselected.
Booking Alert Email Notifications: Go to Setup > Setup Appointments & Emails >
Online Booking tab. There is a new setting for “Send notifications for clients booked online with booking alerts”, simply click the checkbox to enable and enter the email(s) to send to. If using multiple emails, separate with a comma.
STX Cloud is now Inspire by STX - Recently we made the decision to jazz up the name of our software from STX Cloud to Inspire by STX. Throughout the program, you will notice updates to our logos and such to reflect this change.

APPOINTMENT BOOK
Package Booking (NEW!) - To schedule a package, such as a spa day simply go to Appointments > Find Appointment and select the package from the bottom of the services list. The associated services will populate.

Any Worker / Requested Worker (NEW!) - If Any Worker was selected using the Find Appointment Search or in Online Booking to schedule the service, we added a ~ before the worker name on the Appointment Detail page. If the ~ is not present, the worker was requested.
Add Zoom Buttons to Check In Kiosk (Enhancement) - The Zoom In and Zoom Out buttons have been added to the Check In Kiosk page and the Walk In Kiosk page.
CHECKOUT
Variable Ticket Fee (NEW!) - To charge an additional fee on every in store ticket, businesses can now setup a
Variable Ticket Fee located in Setup > Setup Ticket Preferences. The options are for a flat dollar amount or a percent of the ticket.

Automated Promotions (NEW!) - Clients can now have automated promotions set in their Client Card on the Client Profile table. When a Service or Product Promotion is selected, anytime the client has a ticket the promotions will be automatically applied.

Package Usage Opt Out (NEW!) - If a client would prefer
not to use their prepaid package to pay for a service, simply click on the service paid by a package and unselect the “Paid by Package” checkbox.

Taxable Checkbox (NEW!) - To
remove or enable tax charged on a service or product, simply click on the line item deselect or select the Taxable checkbox.

Delete Cash Paid In / Cash Paid Out (NEW!) - If there was
Cash Paid In or Cash Paid Out recorded in error, the entry can now be deleted by going to Reports > Transaction Reports > Ticket Details Report and click the X next to the line item to delete.

Add Client Name to No Client Ticket (NEW!) - To associate a client with a No Client ticket, go to the Completed Ticket and click the magnifying glass icon on the receipt. A pop up will appear to search for the client and the associated services and products will be noted in the clients history.

Change Card on File to Token on File (Enhancement) - The software has been updated to use the term Token On File instead of Card on File in Checkout > Payment Types and throughout reporting.
Location: Payment Types, Checkout, Payment List and Total Sheet.
Visit Type on Completed Ticket (Enhancement) - The Visit Type can now be selected from the completed ticket in the top center under the ticket number.

Refund Tip Deduct from Worker (Enhancement) - When refunding a ticket, businesses can now deduct the tip from the worker’s tips. The amount will be deducted in the Process Compensation Report, Tip Detail Report and Tip Summary Report.

Listing Payments on Receipt (Enhancement) - Prior to this version, the payment type was listed as a line item and the amount was also listed as a line item. In version 2.6 the payment type and the amount are together on one line. Payments will be listed chronologically.

Completed Ticket Itemization (Enhancement) - Prior to this version, the completed ticket did not itemize promotions or rewards like the checkout receipt. In version 2.6, the promotions and rewards are listed on their own line item.

SETUP
Changes to Permissions (Enhancement) - The permissions have been reorganized alphabetically and are in plain text.
Book Appointment Permission changed to Express Booking and Find Appointment Permissions - The former "Book Appointment" permission has been updated to be the Express Booking permission by default and now the Find Appointment permission is a separate permission.
Drag and Drop Permission (NEW!) - There is a new permission to allow or disallow workers to drag and drop the appointments.
Client Card Tab Permissions (NEW!) - The tabs within the client card are now separate permissions located in Setup > Setup Workers > Setup Permissions > Client Card.
Process Compensation by Custom Visit Types (NEW!) - Businesses can now build compensation methods using the custom visit types.
INVENTORY
Delete Inventory Usage (NEW!) - If
Inventory Usage entry was entered in error, businesses can now delete inventory usage by going to Reports > Inventory & Gift Reports > Inventory Usage Report. Click the X to delete the line item.

Purchase Order, Order Type & Cost Updates (Enhancement) - When a purchase order is created, if the Order Type is updated it will keep with the saved purchase order and the cost will be updated when any changes are made to the order.
REPORTS
Report Generating Message (NEW!) - A new message will appear to let you know a report is generating on all reports, the Dashboard and the Billboard Goals.

Reorganized Reports - The reports are now displayed alphabetically for easy finding.

Compensation Reports & Termination Date (Enhancement) - If the worker was terminated in the date range selected on all compensation reporting, those workers will not be shown in the list to select workers.

Dashboard Updated Calculations - Refunds and tax are no longer included in the totals for sales throughout the Dashboard. Also, the Booked Amount will update throughout the day as appointments are checked in and the value will only reflect the appointments in a booked, confirmed or called status.
Refund Report (NEW!) - A new report has been added to list the refunds processed for a date range with additional details if the refund was deducted from worker, restocked or taxable.
Daily Cash Drawer Report Updates (Enhancement) - The tips have been removed from this report, if you would like to see a detailed list of tip transactions that can be located in Reports > Compensation Reports > Tip Detail Report
Total Sheet Updates (Enhancement) - The
Total Sheet got a total makeover to have grids for easier reading. The summary table at the bottom was updated to summarize each category of transaction.

Itemized Sales Report Updates (Enhancement) - The ability to filter or display whether a gift or deposit was an online transaction has been added to this report.
Included Ticket Payment Type - When Ticket A is paid on Ticket B, the payment type for Ticket A on the Ticket Details & Itemized Sales reports will be Ticket B’s ticket number hyperlinked to that ticket.

Report Name Changes (Enhancement) - The following report names have been updated to better describe them:
Adjustment Report (Inventory & Gifts) is now Inventory Adjustments Report
Worker Tips Report is now Worker Tip Detail Report (Compensation Reports)

Product Sales Report Updates - The Product Sales Report now displays total quantity sold and no longer includes Refunds in the report.
ONLINE BOOKING
Client Cancellation Notifications (NEW!) - When a client cancels an appointment online, the client will be sent a confirmation email of the cancellation.

NOTIFICATIONS & REMINDERS
Service Name Displayed as the Online Booking Name (Enhancement) - The notifications & reminders will use the “Online & Client Facing Name” entered in Setup Services. If there is not an Online & Client Facing Name entered, then it will default to using the Service Name by default.

Text Tags were Removed (Enhancement) - When setting up Reminders & Notifications, the software asked for a Text Tag. This field is no longer needed and has been removed.

Notifications & Reminder Email Warning (Enhancement) - A warning has been added to the Notifications & Reminder setup areas to inform businesses that companies like Gmail, Yahoo, iCloud, etc. have rules against using their email addresses to send mass emails. We recommend using an email you own the domain name (website URL) for.

CLIENTS
Email Validations (NEW!) - A new feature has been added to scan
if an email is valid or high risk. When entering an email, if the email is invalid or high risk a warning will display as a toast message in the upper right. This alert does not prevent users from saving the information.

Account Balance Updates (Enhancement) - The current account balance is now displayed in the Account Balances table on the Client Card > Accounts Tab. Also, the header has been updated to say “Balance History”.

Send List of Future Appointments Includes Worker / Service Combo - When sending a list of future appointments, the email will not display the worker and service combination for the upcoming appointments.
