Inspire v3.1 was released on Tuesday, September 5th 2023.

Non Cash Payment (NEW!) - For our STX Payments, Cash Discounting users this new feature will display both a Cash Payment Total and a Non Cash Payment Total amount then pass on the correct total depending on the payment type selected. Additionally, the fee will be automatically added and displayed to your online and membership transactions.  Learn more about Non Cash Payment Fee here

Inventory Usage Update (Enhancement) - When a product is searched or scanned on the Inventory Usage Page, a photo of the product will now appear along with noting the Product Line and Category associated with the product.  

Location: Inventory > Inventory Usage

Default to Week View for Solo Package Users (NEW!- In Setup Booking Preferences, there is now a checkbox to default the appointment book to a Week View exclusively for our Solo Packages. 

Location: Setup Booking Preferences (only on Inspire Solo Accounts)

Accepting New Clients Online by Worker (NEW!- If a worker does not wish to allow a new client to book online with them, they can now enable or disable a checkbox for "Accepting New Clients Online".

Location: Setup > Setup Worker Details > Service Tab

Display Only the Best Available Appointments for Online Booking (NEW!A new setting will only display appointments that are the best available on the online booking

Location: Setup > Setup Online Booking Preferences

Login Landing Page Preference (NEW!- Select a default login page for each worker to appear upon login.  For example, show the Time Clock for an assistant or the Cash Counting Page for your front desk staff.

Online Password Request in Communications Tab (Enhancement) - When a client requests their password from the Online Booking page, the email communication will appear on the Communications Tab of the Client Card.

Client Form Last Modified Time Stamp (Enhancement) - When the Client Form or the Consultation Tab are updated, a time stamp will appear on the Consultation tab to know the last time the client updated the information.

Auto-Remove Expired Tokens (Enhancement) - When a token on file is expired, it will be automatically removed from the client card to request a new one at next booking.

Option to Auto-Bill Weekly in Memberships (Enhancement) - Memberships can now be billed weekly.

Class Sales Report (NEW!) - A new report has been added to show specifically the Class Sales, Average Attendees, Average Sales, plus much more! Learn more about Class Sales Report here.

Inventory Usage by Product (NEW!- A new report has been added to track Inventory Usage by Product and filter by Product Line or Product Group.  Learn more about the Inventory Usage by Product Report here.

Tip Detail Report Makeover (Enhancement) - The Tip Detail Report has been upgraded to be easier to view. 

Location: Reports > Compensation Reports

Total Sheet Updates (Enhancement) - The Total Sheet has been updated to include the Non Cash Payment Fees, Non Cash Payment Fee Refunds, Tippy Tips, Tippy Refunds. 

Location: Reports > Transaction Report

Itemized Sales Report Updates (Enhancement) - The Itemized Sales Report has been updated to show options for both the Tips Paid Out, Tips Left in Drawer, Tippy Tips plus add more details to the descriptions in the report generation.

Refund Report Updates (Enhancement) - The Refund Sales Report has been updated to show options for both the Tips Paid Out Refunds, Tips Left in Drawer Refunds, Tippy Refunds plus add more details to the descriptions in the report generation. 

Location: Report > Transaction Report

Cancelation Report Updates (Enhancement) - The Cancelation Report has been updated to display the appointment status, the worker who canceled the appointment and the date & time the appointment was canceled.

Location: Report > Appointment & Client Reports

Professional Products Omitted in Search (Enhancement) - On the checkout page, the Professional Products will not appear on the SKU / Product Name search.

Refunded By Auto-Assumes Logged In Worker (Enhancement) - When processing a refund, the Inspire by STX Software will no longer require users to select a worker for "Refund By", it will auto-assume the logged in worker is the one who refunded it.

Process Compensation Extra Pay / Deduction Field Increase (Enhancement) - The number of characters allowed in the Extra Pay and Deduction field has been increased to allow for up to 999,999.99 entered in the fields.

Token on File & Membership Expired Card Clean Up (NEW!- Inspire by STX will now auto-remove credit cards on file that have expired.

Textel Name Sync (NEW!) - For our Textel Integrated integrated users, the Client First & Last Names will now be synced automatically with the Textel software nightly.  Please allow for 1 day after the release to see the changes.

SalonInteractive Client Sync (NEW!) - For our SalonInteractive integrated users, the Client Name & Email will now be synced automatically with the SalonInteractive software to use the Product Recommendation & Marketing Features. Please allow for 1 day after the release to see the changes. 

Location: SalonInteractive Integration 

Category added to Product (NEW!) - A Category option has been added to the Setup Product Line and Setup Product pages to help identify a sub-product line. Please allow for 1 day after the release to see the changes.

SalonInteractive Category Sync (NEW!- The SalonInteractive product category will now sync with Inspire by STX Products.  For example, if a Product Line is Redken, the color line categories i.e. Shades EQ, Color Gels, Color Fusion, Blonde Idol, etc.  will be added to the Product Line and attached to the associated Product.

Manually Pushed Reminder Tracking (Enhancement) - When a Reminder is manually sent from the Appointment Detail page, it will be tracked on the Client Card > Communications Tab.

Default Tip Setting (NEW!) - In Setup POS & POS Devices, businesses can now select a default option to mark Tips Left in Drawer or Tips Paid Out.

Cash Counting Tabbing (Enhancement) - The Cash Counting fields will now tab down instead of tabbing left to right.

Itemized Sales Report Sort By Updates (Enhancement) - The Itemized Sales Report now offers a Sort By Worker and Payment Type.

Book Out Time Default Date (Enhancement) - The Book Out Time creation default date will be the date you were on when the Book Out Time button was clicked.

Print Button added to Waiting List (Enhancement) - A Print Button has been added to the Waiting List. 

Location: Appointments > Waiting List

01 Removed from Client Export (Enhancement) - The 01- has been removed from the Client Export. 

Location: Navigation Menu > Client Export

Setup Hours Formatting (Enhancement) - In Setup Worker Details, the hours fields are now more flexible and will auto format any entries.  For example, entering 1 will auto format to 1:00 PM or entering 9a will auto format to 9:00 AM.

Year Dashboard Disabled Temporarily - The Dashboard Year view has been disabled until the next update.  The high volume of data pulling during the report was causing slowness.
