Inspire v4.0 Release Notes
Inspire by STX v4.0 is due to release in May 2024.
Permissions will need to be updated to utilize some new features and some new features are attached to existing permissions, the related permission is noted in orange under the location of the feature.

Global Font Update (NEW!) - The global font applied to all pages and online booking has been updated from Raleway to Inter throughout the software and the online booking pages.

Appointments Report (NEW!) - A new report will generate by worker a list of the appointments for the date selected and include the clients, their appointment details, their next appointment, service history (last 5 services), service notes and product history (last 5 products). Show / Hide the Appointment Book Menu (NEW!) - Use the Show / Hide button on the left side of the appointment page to show or hide the appointment book menu to maximize the appointment book column view.

Appointment Book Worker Column Width Slider Bar (NEW!) - A new slider bar has been added to the Appointment Book Menu to shorten or widen the Appointment Book Worker columns.

Left to Right Navigation (NEW!) - The Appointment Book now displays a left to right navigation bar at the bottom to maximize the view of your appointments.

Select Workers on Appointment Book (Enhancement) - The option to select a worker has been upgraded to allow for multiple workers to be selected to display on the calendar.

Adjust Service Duration from the Top (Enhancement) - The Service duration can now be adjusted by clicking and dragging from the top of the appointment.

Time Hover (NEW!) - The time will now display when you hover over the time slot on the appointment book for a few seconds.

View Appointment History (NEW!) - Click on the Appointment to view the Appointment Detail page, then click the View Appointment History... option to see any changes made to the appointment with details. Click here to learn more.
Product Search Bar (NEW!) - A Search by Product Name or SKU field has been added to the Manage Inventory and Inventory Physical Checklist pages after the selections are generated.

Text Editor (Enhancements) - The Text Editor located on the Setup Notifications & Reminders tabs and the Setup Gifts page have been updated to a more modern option.

Schedule Reports (NEW!) - The Total Sheet, Sales Analysis Report, On Hand Product Report and Text Count Report can now be scheduled to be emailed ASAP Daily, Weekly, Biweekly, Monthly, Quarterly or Yearly in a PDF or CSV file. Click here to learn more.

Large Report Generation (NEW!) - When generating a report for greater than 32 days, the Total Sheet, Sales Analysis Report, and Text Count Report will require the report to be scheduled and sent as a PDF or CSV file.

Schedule Yearly Dashboard (NEW!) - The Yearly Dashboard can now be scheduled to be emailed ASAP, daily, weekly, biweekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly as a PDF. Click here to learn more.

Scheduled Reports Report (NEW!) - Reports that are scheduled will be listed with their Generation Date, Next Generation Date and Report details on the Scheduled Reports report. Additionally, you can cancel or view the reports. Click here to learn more.

reCaptcha v3 for Online Transactions (NEW!) - Online Transactions are now protected by reCaptcha v3 by Google.

Edit Product Average Cost (Enhancement) - The Average Cost can now be edited on the Setup Products page.

Setup Company Days Off (Enhancement) - The Setup Company Hours page has been updated to match related setup pages.

Print Report Borders Removed (Enhancement) - The borders have been removed from the printed versions of all reports to save on ink.

Contact Support (Enhancement) - A new item has been added to the Navigation Menu to Contact Support. When clicked, it goes to stxsoftware.com/support where you can submit a support ticket or start a chat with an online support tech.
